MEN'S SOCCER MOVES UP TO SEVENTH IN THE NSCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS

(September 28, 2005) ?C The Fordham Men??s Soccer team continued their way upward in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Regional Rankings, it was announced on September 27th. After back-to-back wins over Marist and Iona, Fordham moved up two spots to #7 in the regional rankings, just ahead of Stony Brook, Colgate, and Albany. The Rams are unbeaten in their last six contests (4-0-2), and are currently on a four-game win streak. Fordham, now at 5-1-2, is fresh off back-to-back 1-0 wins over Marist and Iona, where junior Ryan Brown scored the game-winning goal in both games, while sophomore Justin Burse had the shutout in net in both contests. The Fordham Men??s Soccer team will have their final non-conference game on Saturday, October 1st, as they host at Manhattan College, beginning at 7:00 PM, on Jack Coffey Field.
