(Sept. 16, 2005) - The 2005-06 Fordham University men??s basketball team will appear on television five times this season it was announced today. Fordham will appear on the Emmy Award-winning Atlantic 10 Television Network four times, three of those from historic Rose Hill Gym, and will also have a home game on ESPN. The highlight of the television schedule is the ESPN appearance when the Rams host one of the newest Atlantic 10 members, Charlotte, in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 18th at 2:00 p.m. Fordham will also appear on the A-10 Television Network four times starting with a home contest with Duquesne on Sunday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. (please note that this is a date change from the originally posted schedule). The Rams will also be featured on A-10 TV when they host the University of Rhode Island on Saturday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. and when George Washington University, the defending conference champions, pays a visit to the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 25th at 4:00 p.m. The other Fordham A-10 TV appearance will be from St. Bonaventure, NY when the Rams face the St. Bonaventure University Bonnies on Thursday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. Fordham could also appear on the A-10 Network at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament as the network will broadcast all four quarterfinals games on March 9th and both of the semifinals games on March 10th.
