(September 15, 2005) ?C With the ongoing construction of a parking garage in Lot H, parking for 2005-06 Fordham University football and basketball games will be at a premium. All fans are encouraged to take mass transit and arrive early to all games but if you are driving to the games here are the parking options:
If you have a valid Fordham football or basketball parking pass you will be allowed to park on campus. If you do not, Lot A, the remaining parking lot at the main entrance to campus, will be open for game day parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the lot is full, security will direct vehicles to the G&R Parking Services garage located at One Fordham Plaza, directly across the street from Fordham??s Third Ave. gate. Fordham will run shuttle vans from the garage to the McGinley Center before the game and up to one hour after the conclusion of the contest. Westbound on Fordham Road (from Bronx River Parkway)
West on Fordham Road to Washington Avenue
Left on Washington Avenue, go 1 block to 189th street
Right on 189th Street. G & R Garage is on the right.
Eastbound on Fordham Road (from I-87, Major Deegan Expressway)
East on Fordham Road to Washington Avenue
Right on Washington Avenue, go 1 block to 189th street
