Vincent Porricelli also announced the hiring of Nina Holley, ATC, as assistant athletic trainer, who will be responsible for the women??s soccer and women??s basketball teams.
Finnegan is no stranger to Fordham Soccer, playing four seasons for the Rams from 1999-2002, serving as team captain in 2001. In four years, she appeared in 61 contests, registering six goals and seven assists. Outside of Fordham, she has served as a soccer coach at Soccer Extreme Camps and in the Collegiate Soccer System.
Finnegan graduated from Fordham in 2003 with a degree in Political Science with a minor in Business. Since her graduation, she is currently a paralegal at Cohen & Gresser, LLP, where she oversees deposition and arbitration preparation and assists firm attorneys in preparation of briefs.
Holley is the newest addition to the Fordham Sports Medicine Staff, joining the group this summer. She joins the staff after serving as a graduate assistant trainer at Virginia Military Institute, where she worked with the baseball and men??s soccer teams.
Prior to that, she received her bachelor??s degree in Human Sciences with an emphasis in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Florida State University. While at Florida State, she served as a student trainer, working primarily with women??s basketball and football. She also served as a student trainer for Lincoln High School.
Originally from Orange Park, FL, Holley will receive her Master??s Degree in Education with an emphasis on Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia, upon the completion of her thesis.
