(November 20, 2004) ?C The Fordham University men??s and women??s cross country teams closed out their 2004 season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships held at Van Cortlandt Park. The Fordham men finished ninth of 17 teams while the women were ninth of 20 teams. Both teams raced in the University division. Rich Pica was the top men??s finisher, covering the 5 mile course in 26:25, good for 19th overall, while Matt Flynn placed 50th overall in a time of 27:11. Also scoring for the men were Greg Mason, who finished 56th in a time of 27:19, Chris McCutchan, who was right behind Mason in 57th place in a time of 27:20, and Jeremy Mosher, who placed 105th in a time of 28:35. On the women??s side, Kristen Dolan was the first Fordham finisher, crossing the line of the 5K race in a time of 19:07, good for 15th place. Also scoring for the Rams was Caitlin Doherty, who placed 49th in a time of 19:48, Stephanie Luther, who was 56th in a time of 20:00, Melissa Salerno, who was 73rd overall in 20:22, and Tracey LaFrano, who was right behind Salerno, placing 74th in a time of 20:24.
