Last season, she returned from injury to lead the Rams in assists with 109, as Fordham reached the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals for just the third time in ten seasons. Away from the court, she was a constant member of the Atlantic 10's Commissioner's Honor Roll for academic achievement, and was the female recipient of the Daniel E. The award is named after Daniel Quilty, who was the Athletic Director at New York University from 1972-1995, and is given to top male and female scholar-athletes from the NIT institutions. Hanson, who is still continuing her education as a graduate student, was a true example of the scholar-athlete at Fordham, after being involved with numerous extra-cirricular projects, which included being the editor-in-chief of The College Voice, a national magazine which publishes articles written by college students. Hanson, a 2004 Fordham graduate, has a bachelor??s degree in Communications and Sociolgy, while currently working on her graduate degree in Public Communications. Her prior work history includes New York University, as an employment recruiter in the Human Resources Department. Febus, a Bronx native, currently resides in Yonkers, NY, with her daughter, Gabriela (5). Founded in 1841, Fordham is New York City's Jesuit University.
