(May 4, 2005) ?C The Fordham Baseball team dropped a spot to a tie for eleventh in the latest Top 15 Northeast Coaches Poll, as run by College Baseball Insider.com, falling from tenth to eleventh.
The poll, released on a weekly basis, has the Rams ranked tied for 11th in the Northeast, joining fellow Atlantic 10 schools Rhode Island (8th) and George Washington (11th) in the top 15 whiel Dayton is also receiving votes.
Following this weekend??s Atlantic 10 series sweep over Temple, the Rams are 29-15 overall, while posting a 13-5 conference record, good for second place in the Atlantic 10 East Division.
Following a loss at Manhattan on Wednesday, the Fordham Rams return to action on Saturday, May 7th, as they travel up to Kingston, Rhode Island to face the University of Rhode Island for a three-game Atlantic 10 series beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday at noon with a single game on Sunday.
The next poll release will come out on Tuesday, May 10th.
