(May 10, 2005) ?C WFUV, Fordham??s University Public Radio station, announced today that it will broadcast all Fordham University softball Atlantic 10 Tournament games live on the internet. To listen to the games, simply point your browser to www.wfuv.org and follow the link to the Fordham softball games. The top four Atlantic 10 softball teams will converge on Fordham University??s Bahoshy Softball Field to battle for the 2005 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament from May 12-14 on the school??s Rose Hill Campus. The field is set for the 23rd annual Atlantic 10 Softball Championship as Fordham, the top seed, will open the tournament against St. Bonaventure, the fourth seed, on Thursday at noon followed by Massachusetts, the second seed, and Saint Joseph??s, the third seed, at 2:00 p.m. The two winners will meet on Friday at noon with the two losers playing at 2:00 p.m. The championship game is slated for Saturday, May 14th at noon with a second game to follow if necessary. The winner of the tournament receives the conference??s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Single day tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for Atlantic 10 students with ID, Children 18 & under and Senior Citizens.
