FORDHAM BASEBALL MOVES UP TO TENTH IN NORTHEAST REGION

(April 26, 2005) ?C The Fordham Baseball team moved up in the latest Top 15 Northeast Coaches Poll, as run by College Baseball Insider.com, advancing from 13th to 10th after going 4-2 on the week. The poll, released on a weekly basis, has the Rams ranked 10th in the Northeast, joining fellow Atlantic 10 schools Rhode Island (7th), Dayton (12th) and George Washington (14th) in the top 15. Following this weekend's Atlantic 10 series win over Massachusetts, the Rams are 25-15 overall, while posting a 10-5 conference record, good for second place in the Atlantic 10 East Division. The Fordham Rams return to action on Tuesday, April 26th, as they travel up to New Rochelle to face Iona College at 3:30 p.m. Following that contest, the Rams will travel to Fairfield University for a game on Wednesday before heading down to Philadelphia to take on Temple University for a three-game Atlantic 10 series beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 30th at noon.
