(April 22, 2005) - The Fordham Women's Soccer team announced their 2005 schedule today, highlighted by their appearance in the 2005 ECAC Women's Soccer Classic, held in Cape Cod, MA. The tournament will be held Spetember 9th through the 11th with New Hampshire, Brown, and Lafayette also competing. Fordham has seven home dates, with three of those game being night contests. The Women's Soccer team will move to the renovated Jack Coffey Field for their home games this season, which will have FieldTurf as the playing surface and lights for night games. With the addition of Charlotte and Saint Louis, the Rams will also be playing a new conference schedule, which will have nine conference games, compared to 11 in previous years. The Fordham Women's Soccer team will open their 2005 regular season on Sunday, August 28th, as they will play at Iona at 1:00 PM.
