(April 19, 2005) ?C The Fordham Baseball team moved up in the latest Top 15 Northeast Coaches Poll, as run by College Baseball Insider.com, advancing from 15th to 13th after going 4-1 on the week.
The poll, released on a weekly basis, has the Rams ranked 13th in the Northeast, joining fellow Atlantic 10 schools Dayton (7th) and George Washington (10th) in the top 15, while Rhode Island is in the also receiving votes categories.
Following yesterday??s loss to St. Francis, the Rams are 21-14 overall, while posting an 8-4 conference record, good for second place in the Atlantic 10 East Division.
The Fordham Rams return to action on Wednesday, April 20th, as they will travel into Manhattan to Face Columbia University for a doubleheader at 1:30 p.m. Following that contest, the Rams will host the University of Massachusetts for a three-game Atlantic 10 series at St. John??s University beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 23rd at noon.
The next poll release will come out on Tuesday, April 26.
