(Feb. 14, 2005) - Nine members of the 2004 Fordham University football squad were named to the Patriot League Academic Fall Honor Roll, announced by Carolyn Schlie Femovich, Patriot League Executive Director.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the seven League-sponsored fall championship sports.
A total of 496 student-athletes were named to the League??s Fall Honor Roll, including 19 with perfect 4.0 GPAs. The Fall Honor Roll includes field hockey, volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and football. Fordham competes in the Patriot League for football only.
The Rams finished the 2004 season with a 5-6 overall record under first year head coach Ed Foley.
Fordham will open the 2005 season on Saturday, September 3rd at the University of Rhode Island.
