Beth Troutt (Wichita, KS/Wichita North (Dodge City CC)), center
Lindsey Kingsland (Orange, CA/El Modena), guard/forward
Erin Gray (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa), and guard
Gina Giambanco (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) have all signed national letters of intent to play at Fordham.
Troutt, a 5-11 guard from Wichita, KS, is currently playing her sophomore season at Dodge City Community College, and was a teammate of current Ram Lisa Carrol last season. She averaged just under four points her freshman season, but has come out shooting in year two, scoring close to 20 points per game, as she has helped Dodge City to a 10-1 mark to start the 2005-06 season. In high school, Troutt was a Third Team All-State selection at Wichita North High School as a senior, averaging 15.6 points and six rebounds a contest, while also garnering First Team All-City honors. Beside her play on the court, she was an outstanding student, as she was named the Wichita North Salutatorian as a senior.
Kingsland, a 6-2 center from Orange, CA, is a multi-sport athlete at El Modena High School, playing basketball and volleyball, while also running track. A three-year varsity basketball player, she was selected Second Team All-Century League as a junior, after averaging 11 points and six rebounds last year, helping her team to the first round of the CIF Southern Section Tournament. A three-time scholar-athlete award winner, Kingsland has received the Coaches?? Award in each of three varsity basketball seasons, and was the recipient of the Vanguard Award for Orange County.
Gray, a 6-1 guard/forward from Clifton Park, NY, is a two-time All-State selection and four-year starter at Shenendehowa High School, helping the team to the Section II Class AA Championship in her sophomore campaign, where they advanced to the New York State semi-finals. She was named Saratogian Player of the Year as a junior, while garnering Suburban Scholastic Player of the Year honors for the second straight year. As a junior, she averaged 15.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, four steals, and two blocks per game, as she led Shenendehowa in virtually every statistical category. Gray was also a First Team Class AA Section 2 selection, while also earning All-District and All-Area honors.
Giambanco, a 5-9 guard from Massapequa, NY, is a five-year varsity basketball player at Massapequa High School. Last season, she helped the team to an undefeated conference championship, while also winning the Nassau and Long Island Championships. An All-County selection as a junior, she averaged 11 points, seven rebounds, 6.5 steals, and five assists per game. She also garnered All-Conference honors as a sophomore and All-Division accolades as a freshman. A multi-sport athlete, Giambanco also runs varsity track, and played for the varsity soccer team, which won the New York State Championship during her sophomore year.
