(October 18, 2005) ?C The Fordham Men??s Soccer team once again has moved their position in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Regional Rankings, it was announced on October 18th.
After their scoreless tie with St. Bonaventure this past weekend, Fordham is now in the #4 spot in the regional rankings, passing Binghamton and behind only St. John??s, Buffalo, and Hartwick.
The Rams are on a team record 10-game unbeaten streak (6-0-4), and have won six of their last eight games. Fordham, now at 7-1-4 overall, 1-0-2 in the Atlantic 10, is fresh off a 0-0 tie, where sophomore goalkeeper Justin Burse recorded his fifth shutout in his last six games.
On top of the Regional Rankings, Fordham is currently tied for 13th in the country in winning percentage at .750 and tied for 20th in goals against average, while sophomore goalkeeper Justin Burse is 10th in the nation in goals against average (0.56).
The Fordham Men??s Soccer team will continue Atlantic 10 play this weekend, as they play at Xavier University on Friday, October 21st, at 7:00 PM, and at the University of Dayton on Sunday, October 23rd, at 1:00 PM.
