FORDHAM FOOTBALL TO HOST SPRING GAME ON SATURDAY

(April 30, 2004) ?C The Fordham University football Rams will close out their 2004 Spring season on Saturday, May 1st as they host the annual Maroon-White Game on Murphy Field at 10:30 a.m. The game will be the final look at the 2004 Rams for new head coach Ed Foley, who took over the program after serving as the Offensive Coordinator the past five years. He is looking to fill three big holes left by graduation: wide receiver Javarus Dudley, running back Kirwin Watson and quarterback Kevin Eakin. Dudley and Eakin won??t be at the spring game as they have been invited to NFL minicamps this weekend, Dudley with Green Bay and Eakin with Miami. Foley also needs to fill holes on the offensive line and tight end on offense but he does return eight starters on defense. Fordham will open the 2004 season on Saturday, September 4th when they host the University of Rhode Island on Jack Coffey Field at 1:00 p.m.
