(April 20, 2004) ?C Four members of the 2004 Fordham University Water Polo team have been selected to the All-Academic Collegiate Water Polo Team by the American Water Polo Coaches Association (AWPCA). Sean MacCarthy (Long Grove, IL), Kevin O??Neill (Reno, NV/Bishop Manogue Catholic), Matthew Rudy (San Jose, CA/Mt. Pleasant) and Luke Santowski (Northfield, IL/New Trier) were named to the team was well as being named to The Collegiate Water Polo Association All-Academic Team for the 2003-04 academic year. MacCarthy, a graduate student defenseman, has a 3.83 GPA in Philosophy. O??Neill, a sophomore driver who scored seven goals this year, registered a 3.47 GPA in Psychology, while Rudy, a senior driver who netted a pair of goals in 2003, has a 3.52 GPA in Political Science. Santowski, a senior goalie, has a 3.51 GPA in English.
