(February 16, 2004) ?C Fordham University freshman second base Krystle Henry (Maywood, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) was named Atlantic 10 Softball Rookie of the Week for games through February 15th. Henry enjoyed a successful collegiate debut, going 3-for-5 (.600) with three stolen bases, three sacrifice hits and one run scored as the Rams opened their 2004 season by participating in the Triangle Classic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In her second collegiate contest, Henry recorded her first multi-hit game with a pair of singles against UNC-Wilmington on February 13th and then picked up another hit against James Madison the next day. The Rams lost three games at the Triangle Classic, falling to Marshall, 3-1, UNC-Wilmington, 4-2, and James Madison, 4-3. The Fordham Softball team will next be in action on February 27-29 as they participate in the Dixie Classic in Virginia Beach, VA.
