(November 18, 2004) - In a vote by the Atlantic 10's Volleyball head coaches, Fordham University sophomore Jamee Stimson (Milford, NH/Milford) was named to the Atlantic 10's All-Conference Volleyball team this evening at the Atlantic 10 Awards Banquet. Stimson becomes the first Ram to earn All-Conference honors in since Val Bosticco earned First Team All-Patriot League honors in 1992.
Stimson, along with the rest of the Rams, enjoyed a most improved season, that saw the team in contention for an Atlantic 10 Tournament berth going into their final regular season contest. On the year, Stimson set personal highs with 276 kills (2.85/game), 35 services aces (0.36/game) and 43 total blocks (0.44/game). She ended the year leading the Rams in total kills, kills per game average, and service aces. In conference play, Stimson averaged a team-best 3.12 kills per game, while being responsible for 181 total points, which also ranked first on the team.
