FORDHAM'S SCOTT FELLUSS AND SHAUN MOAMEM NAMED TO THE ATLANTIC 10 MEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

(November 10, 2004) - In a vote by the Atlantic 10's Men's Soccer head coaches, Fordham University senior Scott Felluss (Centerport, NY/Centerport) and freshman Shaun Moamem (Great Neck, NY/Great Neck North) received All-Atlantic 10 honors this evening at the Atlantic 10 Awards Banquet. Felluss was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10, while also being selected to the Academic All-Conference team, with Moamem receiving Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors. Felluss garners Second Team All-Conference honors after starting all 18 games for the Rams, setting career-highs in scoring from his defender position. On the year, he notched two goals and an assist for five points, becoming the first All-Conference Men's Soccer player since Brian Borrhello in 2002. An anthropology major, Felluss is also just the third Fordham men's soccer player to receive Academic All-Conference standing, joining John Wolyniec (1996-98) and Brian Thoms (2000). Moamem received Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team honors, after leading Fordham in scoring as a freshman with five goals and two assists for 12 points. Appearing in all 18 games this season, Moamem's selection marks the second straight season that the Rams have had an All-Rookie team pick (Pat McNamee - 2003). Founded in 1841, Fordham is New York City??s Jesuit University. With 22 men??s and women??s varsity sports teams, the Fordham Rams are members of the NCAA Division I and compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track, women??s rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball and in the Patriot League (NCAA I-AA) for football.
