(September 8, 2003) - Fordham freshman Patrick McNamee (West Hartford, CT/Conrad) was named Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 7th. He shares the honor with Jeff Spiker of La Salle. McNamee helped the Rams get their first win of 2003 against Army by a 3-1 final score back on September 2nd. McNamee scored his first collegiate goal, which turned out to be the game-winning goal with 35 minutes remaining in the second half. He took a shot that hit the left post and bounced past the Army goalkeeper and into the net. The Fordham Men's Soccer team is now 1-1 on the year with games at Marist on Wednesday, September 10 and at home against Long Island University on Saturday, September 13.
