FORDHAM – COLUMBIA FOOTBALL GAME TO BE TELEVISED LIVE BY THE FOOTBALL NETWORK

(August 6, 2003) – The Fordham University-Columbia University football game slated for Saturday, September 20th will now be televised live by The Football Network (TFN). As a result, the start time of the game has been moved from 1:00 p.m. to 12:20 p.m. The game is part of the Patriot League’s agreement with The Football Network. Other Patriot League games to be broadcast live include Holy Cross at Lehigh on September 6th and Lafayette at Towson on September 13th. The League will also have two games broadcast on tape delay, the Lafayette at Georgetown game on October 4th and the Bucknell at Colgate game on October 25th. TFN will carry custom-tailored regional live college and high school football game coverage for the 2003 season. TFN member conferences include Southwestern Athletic Conference, Southern Conference, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, the Atlantic 10, the Patriot League, the Pioneer League and the Big South Conference. TFN has also developed the NCAA Division I-AA All-Star game. The inaugural game, slated for December 30th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, will be broadcast live by TFN. Fordham, the 2002 Patriot League co-champions, opens the 2003 season on Saturday, August 30th as they host the C.W.
