FORDHAM WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SIGNS STIMSON

(Nov. 22, 2002) - Fordham Women's Volleyball Coach Megan Gamble announced the signing of one recruit today as Jamee Stimson (Milford, NH/Milford) will suit up for the Rams in 2003. Stimson, a multi-sport athlete at Milford High School, earned varsity letters in four sports, including volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. This season, she was named the Class and State Volleyball Player of the Year in New Hampshire, earning First Team All-State Honors for the fourth straight season. Stimson, who served as team captain the last two seasons, also was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in her junior season. A member of the National Honor Society, she currently serves as President of the Milford High School chapter of the NHS. Founded in 1841, Fordham is New York City's Jesuit University. With 22 men's and women's varsity sports teams, the Fordham Rams are members of the NCAA Division I and compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track, women's rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball and in the Patriot League (NCAA I-AA) for football.
