(November 24, 2003) ?C Fordham University senior defensive lineman Colby Khuns (Hilton, NY/Aquinas Institute) was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for games of November 22nd. Fordham closed out the 2003 season with a 35-22 Patriot League win over Towson University on Saturday as the Rams finish the season with a 9-3 overall record. The nine wins ties the Fordham school record for most regular season wins since moving to the NCAA I-AA in1989. Khuns led the Fordham defense, a squad which recorded six sacks on the day, with ten tackles, six solo, including five for a loss of 14 yards and two sacks for a loss of ten yards. The Fordham defense closed out the year with 16 sacks in its last four games. On the year, Khuns recorded 48 total tackles, 32 solo, including a team-high 14 for a loss and three sacks. He also registered six pass break-ups.
