(November 12, 2003) ?C Fordham University freshman midfielder Pat McNamee (West Hartford, CT/Conrad) was named to the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Rookie Team it was announced today, in voting among the Conference's head coaches. McNamee finished his rookie campaign with three goals and three assists for nine points, second best on the squad, with two game-winning goals. He was twice named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the first coming on September 8th as he helped the Rams pick up their first win of 2003, a 3-1 win over Army. In that game, McNamee scored his first collegiate goal, which turned out to be the game-winning goal with 35 minutes remaining in the second half. He was also named Rookie of the Week on October 27th as he had a goal and an assist in an Atlantic 10 win over Xavier as Fordham sweep the weekend series with Xavier and 20th ranked Dayton. The Rams finished the 2003 season with a 4-12-1 overall record, 3-8 in the Atlantic 10.
