(October 30, 2003) ?C Fordham Women's Basketball Coach Jim Lewis announced that senior Beth Ann Dickinson and junior Monica Mack will serve as co-captains of the 2003-04 squad today. This will be the second consecutive season that Dickinson will be a captain, while being the first year for Mack. Dickinson is the top returning scorer from the 2002-03 team. Last season, she appeared in all 30 games for the Rams, starting 26 and finished second on the team in scoring at 10.7 points per game and fifth in rebounding at 3.3 rebounds per game. The Fordham Women??s Basketball heads into year four of Head Coach Jim Lewis?? tenure, which looks to exceed the accomplishments from the 2002-03 campaign. Last season, the Rams increased their win total for the third straight season. The team finished the 2002-03 season with 14 wins, the most for the program in seven years, and five Atlantic 10 wins, the most for Fordham since joining the Atlantic 10 in 1995-96. Last year's squad also ranked among the most improved team in the NCAA, finishing tied for 15th with a 7.5 game improvement.
