(Sept. 16, 2002) ?C The Fordham University football Rams will travel to Columbia University on Saturday night for the inaugural Liberty Cup game which will be broadcast live on the YES Network. The contest will be played at Lawrence Wien Stadium at Baker Field with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. The game will have added significance as the two schools have agreed to create The Liberty Cup as a traveling trophy to commemorate the winner of the annual clash of city rivals. In addition to the awarding of the Liberty Cup, Columbia and Fordham have agreed to donate the proceeds from the game's ticket sales to the scholarship funds designated for the victims' families at both Columbia and Fordham. All police, fire department, Port Authority, Emergency Medical Technician workers and others that assisted with rescue and recovery efforts will be admitted with their families free of charge with proper identification.
