Fordham University sophomore guard William ??Smush?? Parker (New York, NY/Newtown) was named the Atlantic 10 Men??s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 9 th .
On the week the Rams lost two Atlantic 10 games, falling to Dayton on Wednesday and to Saint Joseph??s on Saturday. On the week Parker averaged 28.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in two games this past week. He scored 25 points and handed out seven assists in Fordham??s game with Dayton on February 6 th and then scored a career-high 32 points and hauled down six rebounds against Saint Joseph??s on February 9 th .
