Fordham University Men??s Soccer player Brian Borrhello (Berea, OH/Berea) was named to the 2002 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team today, as voted upon by the head coaches.
Borrhello led the team in scoring for the fourth straight season as he recorded career highs with 11 goals and 24 points on the year. He earned Atlantic 10 player of the Week honors twice this year, while accounting for 55% of the Rams offense. He finished his career fourth on the Rams' all-time scoring list with 82 points and 35 goals. A team co-captain as a senior, this is Borrhello??s first Atlantic 10 All-Conference honor.
The Fordham Men??s Soccer Team concluded the 2002 season with a 4-14 overall record and a 1-10 Atlantic 10 Conference tally.
Founded in 1841, Fordham is New York City??s Jesuit University. With 22 men??s and women??s varsity sports teams, the Fordham Rams are members of the NCAA Division I and compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track, women??s rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball and in the Patriot League (NCAA I-AA) for football.
