Homecoming 2002 will kickoff on Thursday night, October 24th with a Talent Show at Rodrigue??s at 8:00 p.m. followed by Senior Night (for students 21 and over) at Dagger John??s beginning at 9:00 p.m. Show off your talents at the Talent Show, sing, rap, recite a poem, do it all! Just show up!!
On Friday there will be a Pep Rally on the McGinley Center lawn beginning at 7:30 p.m. The rally will be emceed by Fordham alum Bob Papa, the voice of the New York Giants, and will feature a talk from head football coach Dave Clawson as well as the Fordham tri-captains, Rhamel Brown, Chris Rhodes and John San Marco. The Fordham band and cheerleaders will also be present as will the Satin Dolls and Expressions who will both perform. The rally will end at 8:40 p.m. with free food and a DJ.
Following the rally there will be Blackout in the Ramskeller featuring a showcase of student bands and the night will wrap-up with Midnight Breakfast in the cafeteria from 11:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m.
On Saturday at 1:00 p.m. the Football Rams kickoff against Lafayette College with the Patriot League lead in the balance as both teams come into the game with a 2-0 league record. The weekend will end on Saturday night as RHA presents the Perennial Ball in the McGinley Center Ballroom at 9:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00/person with Fordham ID required for outside guests.
