Feliciano Decarvalho, the head crew coach at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J., was named rigger for the Fordham University women’s rowing squad in September of 2016.
Decarvalho has served as the head rowing coach at Don Bosco since 2009, leading the team to the state championships for the past five years with the men’s lightweight eight winning gold at the 2014 NJ State Championship. Last spring, he guided the men’s junior four to a bronze medal at the National Championship Regatta while in 2013 he also led the lightweight four to a bronze medal and in 2012 the men’s senior double boat won gold.
Prior to taking over the rowing program at Don Bosco, Decarvalho served as the varsity men’s crew coach at Montclair High School in Rutherford, N.J., where he led the team to two state championships.
A 2006 graduate of Fairleigh Dickerson University, Henderson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the Teaneck campus.
