Kathleen Uy enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's tennis team.
Uy is very familiar with Fordham, having competed against the Rams as a member of the women’s tennis team at Rhode Island. She played at the 2-4 positions in singles while primarily playing the #1 position in doubles. In her career, Uy was victorious 39 times in singles and 43 times in doubles.

Besides tennis, Uy immersed herself in URI's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the URI Student Senate to have a voice on campus. During her senior year, Uy became the Director of Communications of the URI Student Senate. With aspirations of going to medical school, the Elmhurst, N.Y. native graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in biology while completing the URI Honors Program.
