Following his performance against Rhode Island, Edmonds was named the Corvias Patriot League Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week, as well as the Sports Network NCAA FCS Rookie of the Week and the College Sports Madness Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week.

Edmonds had a record-breaking game on Saturday, leading Fordham to a 54-7 win over the University of Rhode Island on Jack Coffey Field. Â He carried 22 times for 231 yards and four touchdowns, scoring on runs of 87, 41, 16 and ten yards. The 87-yard run tied for the fourth longest run in school history while his 231 rushing yards is the ninth best single game total in school history. Edmonds broke the school freshman rushing record of Darren Wallace, who gained 198 yards against Brown in 1990.
