Cavanaugh became the first Fordham women's basketball player to be selected as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year last week, while also being selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship team.  In three games at the Championship, she averaged 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.  She opened the championship with 22 points, five rebounds, and three assists in a win over Saint Joseph's.  Cavanaugh followed with another 22-point performance in a win over Duquesne, adding 10 rebounds for a double-double.  She then had 17 points and five rebounds in the Rams' A-10 semifinal loss to VCU.
