Cook was a duel event winner at the 2019 Metropolitan Outdoor Track & Field Championship, helping Fordham to a second place finish.  On Friday, he won the 3,000 meter steeplechase event in 9:32.68, and then followed with a win in the 5,000 meter run on Saturday in an IC4A qualifying time of 14:41.05.
