Corning became the 16th player in Fordham women's basketball history to record 1,000 points this past weekend, as her efforts helped the Rams extend their school record win streak to 12 games.
Corning opened the week with 19 points, four rebounds, and four assists in the conference opener against Saint Louis, bringing her career point total to 980. Needing 20 points to reach her milestone, Corning knocked down 10-of-16 shots on Sunday at Massachusetts for exactly 20 points and an even 1,000 for her career. She also added seven boards and four assists in the game versus the Minutewomen.
