Kutch helped Fordham to their best ever finish at the Metropolitan Championship as the Rams finished second to only Rutgers in the 15-team meet. Kutch was the Metropolitan champion for the 5,000 meter event, clocking in at 15:24.11. He then anchored the distance meldey relay to a third place finish in 10:19.85.
