Portley received the Doc Johnson MVP Award following his performance in the Battle of the Bronx against Manhattan on Saturday.  He led Fordham with 14 points, shooting four-for-six from behind the arc, and added seven assists and three rebounds, helping Fordham to a 57-56 victory over the Jaspers.
