Rooney was named MVP of the Fordham Holiday Classic, helping the Rams capture the tournament title for the first time since 2008.  She averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists over the two-game tournament in wins over UNCG and Harvard.

She opened the Holiday Classic with 16 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists against UNCG, and followed with 19 points in the title game versus Harvard.  With the two wins, Rooney has helped the Rams to ten straight wins, tying the school record, and an 11-2 mark in non-conference play.
