Slattery continued his stellar senior season by winning the 3,000 meter race at the Wagner Invitational, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. He posted an IC4A qualifying time of 8:23.81 to take first overall. His time was also a career-best in that event, topping his 2016 time of 8:25.45.
