After recovering from a broken leg in early April, Van Hoven returned to the Rams' lineup just before the season ended. In this past weekend's NCAA Salt Lake City Regional, she hit .444 (4-9) with a double, a run scored, and two RBI. Her biggest effort came in Fordham's win over Mississippi State, where she went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored, and two RBI. Her final hit in the Regional came in a loss to BYU. She ended her career with a .349 batting average, which is second among players, who have played all four years at Fordham, while being fourth in runs scored (164), fifth in career hits (245), at bats (703), doubles (40), triples (10), and in stolen bases (49).
