In just his second collegiate meet, Petersen, the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week, posted his second IC4A qualifying time of the season, as he took second in the 500 meter dash with a season-best time of 1:04.58.  He had previously posted an IC4A in the 800 meters in December.
