Rooney was named Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday after a superb start to her season.
 
The Christchurch, New Zealand, native registered two complete performances for the Rams, filling up the stat sheet in their win over San Francisco and their loss to 13^th ranked Penn State.  Against the Dons on Friday night, Rooney tallied 19 points, ten rebounds, and five assists, notching the second double-double of her Fordham career.  The redshirt senior also went 4-5 from beyond the arc in the opener.  Facing off against the nationally acclaimed Lady Lions on Sunday, Rooney finished the contest with a team-high 20 points, pulling down six boards and dishing out three assists in the process.
 
Rooney played all but one minute in the Rams' first two games and went 11-14 from the charity stripe.
