Simmons was a big cog in Fordham's 2-1 record this past weekend to start conference play.  He totaled eight goals on 15 shots to go with 1 assist and seven steals.  In the Rams' 8-7 win over Johns Hopkins, he scored twice to go with an assist and three steals, while having two goals and a steal in a loss to #16 George Washington.  In the weekend finale at Navy, Simmons scored four times, including the game-tying goal with 4.5 seconds left in regulation, while adding three steals in Fordham's first ever win over the Midshipmen.
