Gillen posted two wins in the circle against rival Massachusetts while also providing key offense in the series, batting .556 with two double, a home run, and three RBI.  In game one, Gillen hurled a complete game win, and at the plate, she smacked a two-run home run in the fifth inning for what would be the game-winning hit.  In game three, the graduate student hurled a one-hit shutout with four strikeouts. She also provided all the offense she would need with a RBI-single in the fourth inning.  The shutout moves her into a tie for fourth-most in program history with Chelsea Plimpton (11), while the wins also moved her into fourth on the all-time wins list (43).
