Turi has a pair of excellent runs at the 2016 Metropolitan Indoor Championship on Friday. He started the Championship by winning the 5,000 meter event in a time of 15:12.92. He came back later to run a leg of the distance medley relay, which also won their event in an IC4A qualifying time of 10:12.06.
