Mayer had an incredible weekend for the Fordham softball team at the NCAA Harrisonburg Regional. Over four games, she hit .462 (6-13) with three home runs, seven RBI, and four runs scored. She began the Regional with a solo home run against N.C. State on Friday, and followed up with a 3-for-3 performance against Binghamton, where she hit a two-run home run and had four RBI. Against #15 national seed James Madison, Mayer's two-run home run proved to be the difference maker, as the Rams advanced to the Regional final for the second time in team history with an upset 2-1 win.
