Kennedy, the Atlantic 10 Co-Pitcher of the Week, was outstanding on Thursday in the series opener against the Dayton Flyers. He struck out a career-high 10 batters over seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits. His 10 strikeouts moved him into second place on Fordham’s all-time strikeout list with 214, trailing only Javier Martinez’s record of 264 (2004-07).

The win gave Kennedy his career-high sixth win of the season and lowered his ERA to 3.83. In conference play, this season, he is 5-3 with a 3.51 ERA in eight starts.
