Katherine Anderson, who has served as the Coordinator of Compliance at Fordham University since October of 2014, was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at the school in July of 2015.

Anderson is responsible for Fordham’s NCAA compliance program and serves as the primary contact for all compliance-related matters in the athletic department. In addition to monitoring initial and continuing eligibility of all student-athletes, she is responsible for the monitoring of financial aid, recruiting, and playing and practice season legislation. She is also responsible for providing rules interpretations and with implementing an active campus-wide rules education program for all coaches, student-athletes, and university administrators.
Prior to coming to Fordham, Anderson was a Compliance Coordinator at the University of Mississippi Athletic Department, where she had also served as a compliance intern from 2012-2014. She began her compliance career with an internship at the University of Richmond in 2012 while in law school.
A 2010 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Anderson also holds a juris doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
