Erika Selakowski, a former member of the Fordham women’s crew, was been named Assistant Director of Athletics Development for Communications & Engagement in May of 2025.
 
Selakowski is no stranger to Fordham, graduating from the university in 2020 and has served as Stewardship Associate for the school’s Development and University Relations department since April of 2023. As a member of DAUR, crafted marketing and outreach materials engaging the university community and organizational support across various initiatives while also orchestrating events that solidified relationships between board members, priority donors, foundations, and the University.

Prior to her role at Fordham, Selakowski served as Junior Associate at Longacre Square Partners, a leading financial public relations firm where she focused her work on media relations, analytic reports and brand building strategies for hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity as well as assisting on current shareholder activism campaigns.

Additionally, Selakowski has pursued her interest in policy and political advising through positions with the United States House of Representatives as well as with The Carmen Group a D.C. based bipartisan consulting firm.

Selakowski obtained her Master’s Degree in Election and Campaign Management, as well as undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Communications & Culture from Fordham University.

During her time at Fordham University, Selakowski was a proud member of the Division I Varsity Rowing team for five years, as well as holding the position of captain during her final two years.
