Biography

2010: Saw action in 29 matches, starting 16 as a senior... Totaled 114 kills (1.50/set), 49 digs, 36 total blocks, 10 assists, three aces... Registered double-digit kills twice... Opened the year with 14 kills, five digs, and three blocks against Northeastern (8/27)... Had six kills and four blocks against Holy Cross (8/28)... Recorded 11 kills versus Bradley (9/4)... Posted nine kills and four blocks against Stony Brook (9/11)... Tallied seven kills and three digs against Temple (9/25)... Notched eight kills, four digs, and three blocks versus George Washington (10/9)... Had eight kills and three blocks against Rhode Island (10/29)... Registered five kills and five blocks at George Washington (11/5).

2009: Played in 28 matches as a junior, starting 22… Hit .220 for the year… Totaled 143 kills (1.64/set), 50 digs, and 50 total blocks (0.57/set)…Had two matches of over 10 kills… Had a season-high 12 kills to go with three assists, two aces, and three digs against Boston College (8/29)… Matched that season-high with 12 kills and three blocks against Villanova (10/25)… Notched seven kills and five blocks versus Dayton (10/9)… Had eight kills and four blocks against Xavier (10/10) and Temple (11/8)… Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2008: Appeared in all 34 matches as a sophomore, starting 32… Ranked third on the team with a .253 hitting percentage… Recorded 248 kills (2.00/s), 204 digs (1.65/s), 59 blocks (0.48/s), 53 assists, and 17 service aces…Had three double-doubles… Named to the Quinnipiac All-Tournament team to open the season, after posting at least 10 kills in all four matches… Had her first double-double of the season against Manhattan with 10 kills and 12 digs, and followed with 13 kills and nine digs against Stony Brook (9/13)… Had 12 kills against Saint Louis (10/11)… Posted 14 kills and a career-high eight blocks at Xavier (10/17)… Tallied a career-high 17 digs to go with 11 kills in a win over Fairfield (10/29)… Scored another double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs versus La Salle (10/31)… Registered nine kills and 14 digs in an upset win over Temple (11/1).

2007: Started 22 of 27 matches as a freshman… Hit .187 on the year with 115 kills (1.53 k/s), 46 assists, 136 digs (1.81 d/s), and 33 total blocks… Had one double-double… Saw her first action at Iona, posting 11 kills… Matched that season-high performance with 11 kills and three blocks at Niagara (9/2)… Had a season-high three aces at Manhattan (9/12)… Posted five kills, 11 digs, and a season-high six blocks versus Central Connecticut (9/15)… Registered a season-high 15 digs to go with eight kills against Charlotte (9/22)… Recorded her first career double-double at George Washington with 13 kills and 14 digs (11/4).

Before Fordham: Three-year varsity volleyball player at Marian High School... Served as team captain of both the volleyball and basketball teams... Two-time All-State and First Team All-Region selection, as well as earning First Team All-Metro Detroit honors by The Detroit News... Led Marian in kills in 2006 with 769 (3.44/gm) and registered a 1.44 blocks per game average... Ranked as the #1 volleyball player in Oakland County by the Oakland Press, and #5 in the Detroit Metropolitan Area... CHSL Athlete of the Year... Selected to the USAV Junior Olympic Invitational All-Tournament team in Louisville, Kentucky, after a second place finish with the Michigan Elite National team... Also helped her club team to a top 10 American finish at the USAV Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, leading the team in kills... Member of the National Honor Society... Nominee for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award... Selected as the Top Scholar-Athlete Citizen for 2006-07.

Major: Majoring in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing.

Personal: Third straight generation from her family to play Division I athletics, following after her grandfather, Leon Hart, the 1949 Heisman Trophy Winner at Notre Dame and an All-Pro for the Detroit Lions, and her father, Kevin Hart, who played football for Notre Dame's 1977 National Championship team.
